Our Story
The Schlaifer Family Foundation was created from a belief that success is most meaningful when it can be used to help others.
That belief began with David Schlaifer, who founded DAS Health after recognizing the challenges facing doctors' offices and healthcare organizations. He saw an opportunity to help make healthcare work better — giving healthcare providers the technology, support, and solutions they needed to focus on what mattered most: caring for their patients.
What began with a desire to improve healthcare grew into a company serving healthcare organizations and communities across the country. When DAS Health was sold, the Schlaifer family saw an opportunity to turn the success of that journey into something lasting.
The Foundation was created as a way to give back, support meaningful causes, and use the success of one chapter to create positive change for others.
Today, the Schlaifer Family Foundation carries forward the same spirit that inspired David to build DAS Health: seeing an opportunity to make things better and using it to create meaningful change.
Our hope is to build a legacy of giving that continues to make a difference for generations to come.
